Kafe Antzokia fills a former cinema on San Vicente, a few steps from the Jardines de Albia, and has run as a Basque cultural centre since the mid-1990s. By day it serves a set lunch. In the evening it is one of the busiest concert rooms in the city, with Mercury Rev, Teenage Fanclub and L.A. Guns on the autumn 2026 calendar and tickets at about €15–37.
After the gigs it turns into a club over two floors, from midnight until 06:00 on Friday and Saturday and until 04:30 on Thursday. Some Fridays belong to the Stereorocks electronic nights and to drum and bass. Not for you if you want a sleek club: the room is an old theatre, and the programme jumps from rock to breakbeat in a week.
Gigs are ticketed; for the club, arrive after midnight with original ID, as popular Friday nights can sell out.
