Jimmy Glass is the jazz bar of El Carmen, on Calle Baja in the old town, and it turned 35 in October 2026 with an anniversary night on the 23rd. It programmes two to four concerts a week, from local groups to touring players: the autumn 2026 calendar includes the Guillermo McGill Valencia Quartet and the Jim Snidero Quartet. Cocktails are served alongside the music.
The bar only opens on concert nights, so check the calendar before you go: times and ticket prices are listed per show. It also runs its own jazz festival and a members' association. Not for you if you want to drop in any night of the week: on nights without a concert, the door stays shut.
