Jazzclub Unterfahrt has presented jazz since 1978 and sits on Einsteinstraße in Haidhausen, close to Max-Weber-Platz. The programme mixes local bands with international names: the October 2026 calendar includes Panzerballett and Renaud Garcia-Fons, and both shows are sold out.
Doors open about an hour before the music, and most concerts start at 20:30. Every Sunday from 20:30 the saxophonist Maxim Frischmann hosts a jam session. A normal ticket is about €18, with a student price of about €15. Not for you if you want to dance: this is a listening room, and the night ends when the last set does.
