JackieO' Town Bar is on the waterfront just below the Paraportiani church, at the edge of Little Venice, and it is often called the most famous gay bar on the island. The large terrace looks over the sea, which makes it a sunset stop as well as a late one, and in season there is a drag show every night.
It opens at 19:00 from Monday to Thursday and at 20:00 from Friday to Sunday, and closes at 05:00, or 06:00 on Saturday. In 2026 it opened for the season on 9 April. It works for pre-dinner drinks, the show and dancing afterwards, all without leaving the waterfront. Not for you if you want a quiet drink after midnight.
