High Note sits on top of the Aria Hotel, a music-themed five-star hotel on Hercegprímás utca, and its terrace puts you at eye level with the clock in the dome of St Stephen's Basilica. The Buda hills fill the other side of the view. For its tenth anniversary in 2025 it added the SKY Champagne Bar on the level above.
Cocktails are named after composers and performers and cost 5,900–6,200 Ft; the Frank Sinatra is Aperol, white wine, cherry and amarena. It opens at 16:00 from Monday to Thursday and at 14:00 from Friday to Sunday, and closes at midnight every night. Not for you on a ruin-bar budget; one drink here costs as much as three beers in District VII.
