Het Concerthuis is on the Poelestraat, in a building that was once a cinema, and it works as an all-day eetbar: house-roasted coffee in the morning, sharing plates and Sunday brunch, then Dutch craft beers from small breweries and cocktails as the evening goes on. The kitchen has vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
It opens daily from 10:00 until late, and from Thursday to Saturday the late programme starts at 20:00. Because it sits on the Poelestraat, it is an easy place to eat and have the first drinks before the bars and clubs on the same street. Not for you if you want a dark club: it is a café first, and the late nights are a bonus.
