Heebie Jeebies fills a Georgian townhouse at 80–82 Seel Street that, as Time Out puts it, was once home to wealthy shipping merchants. It calls itself Liverpool's definitive indie and alternative club and spreads over two floors with an outdoor area, mixing live bands and DJs for up to about 375 people.
It opens from midday, and the licence runs to 02:00 from Sunday to Wednesday, 03:00 on Thursday and Friday and 03:30 on Saturday. The dress code is relaxed, and Time Out lists Saturday's Liquidation as a student night. Not for you if you want house or techno: the music here is guitars and singalongs.
