Hard Club

Hard Club opened in 1997 and, after closing its first site in 2006, moved into the Mercado Ferreira Borges in 2010. The market hall dates from 1885 and stands above the Praça da Ribeira. Inside are two concert rooms, a café and restaurant and a record shop, with one hall for about 300 standing.

The programme is mostly gigs: Mercury Rev play on 2 October 2026, with The Lemon Twigs and Alcest on the calendar. Times and prices depend on the show, so book through the event listing. It works well before a night in the Ribeira or the Galerias, both a short walk away. Not for you if you want a club: this is a concert venue first.
