Half Moon Festival

Half Moon Festival runs around the half moons at two sites in Ban Tai, not at Haad Rin. Harmony Beach Club (99/5 Moo 1) hosts the afternoon sessions, listed from 15:00 to 24:00, and the Magic Forest (72/39 Moo 2), a forest clearing, hosts the night from 21:00 until sunrise. The official site names two stages with different sounds: G Floor plays Afro house, tech house, progressive house and progressive trance, and The Cave plays hip hop and R&B. The Broke Backpacker describes a more organised alternative to the Full Moon Party with an estimated crowd of 2,000 to 5,000.

The official 2026 dates page lists Tuesday 3 and Tuesday 17 November and then paired days on 2 and 3 December and on 16 and 17 December, with Harmony Beach on the Wednesday and the Magic Forest on the Thursday. Its listing shows the November dates with Harmony Beach hours (15:00 to 24:00), while Thai Holiday Guide lists them as Magic Forest nights from 21:30 to 06:00 and phangan.events lists 3 November at 21:00, so check the ticket before travelling. That guide quotes approximate gate prices of about ฿1,500 for a Harmony day, about ฿2,700 for a Magic Forest night and about ฿3,500 for the two-day Wonder Access pass. Not for you if you want a free-entry night or a venue that opens every week.
