Häktet opened in 2012 on Hornsgatan, at an address with a past: from 1781 to 1872 it held Stockholm's debtors' prison, and the name means the jail. Today it is a French-leaning bistro cooking with Nordic produce, plus an award-winning cocktail bar that hosts jazz evenings and puts DJs on every weekend.
It opens from 11:30 on weekdays and 12:00 on Saturday, and closes at 23:00 on Monday and Tuesday, midnight on Wednesday and Thursday and 03:00 on Friday and Saturday. It is closed on Sunday. Zinkensdamm metro is about 250 metres away. Not for you if you want a quiet drink on a Saturday night.
