Hafenklang sits on the Große Elbstraße in Altona, on the riverside a short walk west of the Fischmarkt. It marks 30 years in 2026 and runs two rooms: the main hall and the smaller Goldener Salon.
The programme leans dark and loud. Punk, metal, dark wave, goth, post-punk and indie acts play concerts, and club nights in indie, electronic and bass styles run alongside them through the week. The crowd is mostly local and comes for the booking rather than the setting. Not for you if you want chart music or a dressed-up night out; this is a room for people who know the bands.
