Elvy is the gastrobar on the seventh floor of the nhow hotel on the Wilhelminapier, looking across the Maas at the Erasmus Bridge and the city skyline. It serves bright, easy cocktails and small plates.
It opens at 17:00 on weekdays and at 15:00 at the weekend, and stays open until 02:00 on Friday and Saturday, when DJs play. On those evenings the door turns away caps, sunglasses and tracksuits. Groups of ten or more book by email. It is a good first drink before a night on the south bank. Not for you if you want somewhere cheap.
