Frank's is the original Buenos Aires speakeasy, open since 2011 at Arévalo 1443 in Palermo Hollywood. You enter through a phone-booth door and need an access code. Inside, the menu is classic cocktails with Argentine twists. Arévalo is also the street of Uptown, the subway-themed bar, so the two combine into one short walk.
It opens Wednesday and Thursday from 21:00 to 03:00, and Friday and Saturday from 21:00 to 04:00. It is closed Sunday to Tuesday. Not for you if you dislike gimmicks: the hidden door and the access code are the whole concept.
