Excet on Vasagatan is one of the city's bigger clubs: three dance floors, eight bars and a terrace with retractable awnings that stays open all year. The music changes by room, from house and R&B to pop and hip-hop, and one room bills itself as Gothenburg's largest schlager bar.

On Friday it opens early, with a mingle from 19:00 with soul music and food, and the dance floors run late; Saturday starts at 22:00. Closing times are not published, and neither are the age limit and the entry price. A review on its listing calls the entry very expensive, so check before you go. Not for you if you want a small room or a strict music policy.
