Employees Only is a cocktail bar and restaurant on Hudson Street, between Christopher Street and West 10th Street in the West Village, a short walk south of the Meatpacking District. A fortune teller greets you at the front, and the bar behind her serves dinner as well as drinks.
It is open every day from 18:00 to 04:00, which makes it one of the few serious cocktail bars in the city still pouring at last call. Dinner reservations are taken by phone. Stay until closing and you may get the chicken soup the bar hands out at the end of the night. Not for you if you want to dance: it is a bar, not a club.
