Izakaya arcade at 1-7-4 Ebisu with tiny counters for sushi, oden, grills and wine, open from about 17:00 until late.

Ebisu Yokocho opened in 1998 on the site of the former Yamashita shopping centre, a short walk from the west exit of Ebisu Station. It is a lively arcade of izakaya counters, with western-style wine bars, sushi shops, oden, grills and monjayaki. Some counters have less than 25 square metres of indoor space.

Most businesses open at 17:00 and stay open late, so it works as a first or second stop before the live houses in Ebisu. Each counter sets its own prices and charges, so read the menu board before you sit. Not for you if you want an empty bar: the stalls are small and shared.
