Dva Kohouti is a brewery and taproom on Sokolovská in Karlín, the former industrial district east of the centre that now holds many of Prague's newer bars and restaurants. The beer is brewed on site and poured fresh, and at weekends DJs play into the night.
It opens at 17:00 and closes at midnight from Sunday to Thursday and 02:00 on Friday and Saturday. Use it as the start of a Karlín evening before cocktails nearby, or a stop on the way to Florenc. Not for you if you want a club; the DJs are background to the beer.
