Dürer Kert is one of the anchors of Budapest's alternative scene, and during the pandemic it moved across the river to Öböl utca in Újbuda. It has a main hall, a small hall and an armchair bar, and the programme leans towards metal, hip-hop, rock, indie, punk and drum and bass. Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan plays on 20 December 2026.
The bar opens at 16:00 on weekdays, 13:00 on Saturday and 09:00 on Sunday, and on Friday and Saturday it stays open until 04:00. Many club nights are free or under 3,000 Ft; concerts are priced separately. There is bike storage, which helps, because it sits well south of the centre. Not for you if you want to stay in the Jewish Quarter all night.
