Double Chicken Please is GN Chan and Faye Chen's bar on Allen Street, which grew out of a touring pop-up and opened in 2020. It has two rooms: Free Range at the front, a bright bar for cocktails and the hot honey chicken sandwich, and The Coop at the back, a dark lounge where the drinks are built to taste like dishes, from Cold Pizza to Japanese Cold Noodle.
It entered The World's 50 Best Bars at number 6 in 2022 and was number 41 in 2025. It opens at 17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday and closes at midnight, or 01:00 on Friday and Saturday; it is closed on Monday. Not for you if you hate queues: The Coop runs a waitlist that can take hours.
