Doornroosje is the pop venue of Nijmegen, on the Stationsplein by the railway station, with a Paarse zaal and a Rode zaal. It began in 1970 and still books touring bands: Temples play on 4 November 2026 and Hatebreed with Life of Agony on 19 November, while Fischer-Z and BLØF have sold out.
The club side is a calendar of one-off nights. The Blend, an open DJ session, runs on 3 November and 1 December, ICONIC is a queer pop party on 12 December and 40UP is a dance night for over-40s on 30 December.
