Doka

Doka is the basement club under the Volkshotel on the Wibautstraat in Oost, next to Wibautstraat metro station. It is an industrial-looking room with a strong sound system that works as a club at the weekend and a cultural space in the week, with life drawing, album launches, live sets and art.

Club nights run on Thursdays from 23:00 to 04:00 and on Fridays and Saturdays from 23:00 to 07:00. The bookings lean towards techno and electronic music, with disco and house nights too. It presents itself as a safe, inclusive space. Not for you if you want a big club: the room is small and the sound is the point.
