Doboz

Doboz, Hungarian for box, takes the ruin-bar format and turns it into a proper club. The building on Klauzál utca has themed rooms playing different genres and two main dance floors, one of them outdoors in the garden, where a giant King Kong statue hangs from a tree. Patio heaters keep the garden going through the winter.

It opens from Wednesday to Saturday at 18:00 and runs until 06:00, so it works both as an early drink and as the last stop of the night. Cocktails cost around 2,500 Ft, and daiquiris a little less. Not for you if you want a single music policy; each room plays something different, and the rooms compete for volume.
