Distrikt opened on Duncan Street in 2009 and describes itself as a cross between the secrecy of a speakeasy and the freedom of a club. It has two renovated floors, a custom Martin Audio sound system, cocktails and craft beer, and an underground music policy of house, minimal, disco and deep cuts.
It opens at 17:00 from Tuesday to Friday and at 16:00 on Saturday, and closes at 02:00. Entry is free every night, including the 17th birthday weekend on 16 and 17 October 2026 and a Hannah Wants set on 30 October. Tables take groups of up to six. Not for you if you want a late finish: at 02:00 the crowd moves on to Call Lane.
