Historic café on the Haarlemmerstraat in a listed 1881 former liquor store, with a copper beer tap and the Rembrandtzaal for groups.
De Vergulde Kruik on the Haarlemmerstraat is a historic café in a building from 1881 that is a Rijksmonument and a former liquor store. The café's site says the Heineken star was designed here and that it has the only copper beer tap in the Netherlands.
It rents a room, the Rembrandtzaal, for up to 100 guests. The site gives no opening times, so the hours here come from a third-party listing: weekdays from 15:00, Friday and Saturday from noon, closing at midnight or 01:00. Not for you if you want a late finish: it closes by 01:00.
Walk-in café; the Rembrandtzaal can be hired for groups of up to 100.
