Belgian beer café on the Kleine Kromme Elleboog with 30 beers on tap, about 80 in bottles and cans, open every day.
De Pintelier was Groningen's first Belgian café and has been a fixture for more than 25 years, on the Kleine Kromme Elleboog in one of the oldest parts of the city. The beer list is the reason to come: 30 beers on tap, around 80 bottles and cans in permanent stock, and more than 250 different beers passing through in a year.
It opens every day, from 16:00 and from 15:00 on Friday and Saturday, and the crowd mixes students, locals and visitors. It makes a good first stop before the Poelestraat and Peperstraat bars, or a slower alternative to them. Not for you if you want to dance: this is a café for drinking and talking, and the beers are strong.
Walk-in café, open every day.
