De Helling calls itself an idiosyncratic stage at the head of Rotsoord, south of the city centre, and it works from the idea that music and culture should be broadly accessible. The evening belongs to bands, from indie to post-hardcore. Later, the room turns into a club, and the genre changes almost every weekend.
In October and November 2026 that means Distortion Disco (23:00–04:00), Afrobeats NL (23:59–05:00), The Sun with reggaeton, techno and hits (23:59–05:00, €15.50, 18+), PANN, a night for people over 25, and 10EURODANCE. There are daytime raves too, such as an Office Day Rave from 15:00. Not for you if you want the same sound every week: check what is on before you cycle out.
