De Drie Gezusters fills several buildings on the Grote Markt and claims to be the largest café in Europe. Under one roof you find the grand café, with high ceilings and chandeliers, the sports bar De Groote Griet, Café Hoppe, a dance bar called De Draaibar and five themed karaoke booths, plus a boutique hotel, De Doelen.
It opens from 11:00, from 10:00 on Saturday, and stays open until 01:00 from Sunday to Wednesday and until 03:00 from Thursday to Saturday. You can order drinks and snacks in the karaoke booths, so a group can make a night of it in one room. Not for you if you want something small or local: it is big and central.
