Barra Funda club open since 2003 with parties from Thursday to Sunday, 23:59 starts, Friday and Saturday sets to 08:00 and a Sunday after-party.

D-Edge has operated in Barra Funda since 22 April 2003. Portuguese Wikipedia says it began in Campo Grande in 2000, credits designer Muti Randolph with the São Paulo interior and names owner and DJ Renato Ratier as the person who runs the parties. The club's own site lists dance floors, a lounge, a rooftop and VIP boxes (camarotes), the dance floor is wrapped in LED screens, and TechnoAirlines gives the capacity as 1,000. DJ Magazine ranked it ninth in its 2009 Top 100 Clubs list.

The programme is built on four weekly parties: Moving on Thursday, Freak Chic on Friday, NAVE on Saturday and Superafter on Sunday. Resident Advisor lists Friday 23 October and Saturday 24 October 2026 from 23:59 to 08:00, with two floors on the Saturday, and TechnoAirlines lists Superafter from 05:00 to 12:00. Advance tickets are sold on Ingresse and Blueticket until 23:59 and then at the door, where the price is set per night. Valet parking is on Alameda Olga. Not for you if you want a short night: the Friday and Saturday sets are scheduled to run about eight hours.

History

Founded by DJ Renato Ratier, D-Edge became known for its LED-lit interior, designed by Muti Randolph. It started as a single room and has since added a lounge and a terrace.
