Club Up

Club UP is an intimate electronic club tucked behind Sociëteit De Kring, the artists' society founded in 1922, with its entrance on the Korte Leidsedwarsstraat by Leidseplein. The name says it: whichever door you use, you climb upstairs. It holds around 500 people and opened as a club in 2008.

Regular nights run on Fridays and Saturdays from 23:00 to 05:00, with extra dates around events such as Amsterdam Dance Event. The programme rotates, from house and garage to hard techno. Dress your best: no sportswear or caps. Not for you if you want chart music: this is a club for people who follow the line-up.
