Three floors of queer-friendly nightlife in a former carriage house on Reguliersdwarsstraat, with the famous toilet DJ.
Club NYX fills a four-storey former carriage house on the Reguliersdwarsstraat, the city's best-known gay street. It took over from Club Exit and is named after the Greek goddess of the night. Around 850 people fit across three floors that can each run their own night, on a VOID sound system.
It calls itself a home for everyone, gay, straight and everything in between. Weekly nights include Nyx op Donderdag, Vrijdag is NYX and 3xNYX. Fridays and Saturdays run from 23:00 to 05:00, and Thursday and Sunday entry is door sale only. Look out for the toilet DJ by the pink urinals. Not for you if you want a quiet bar.
