Club Noir is a small club at Lange Leidsedwarsstraat 81, just off Leidseplein, and it calls itself the only afrobeat destination in Amsterdam. The music is Afrobeats and amapiano, with afro house on some nights and live sets from touring artists.
It opens every night at 21:00 and closes at 03:00, or 04:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. You can buy tickets for the bigger nights or book a table. The dress code is party chic: no sportswear, ripped clothes, caps or trainers. Not for you if you want techno or house: the focus is African dance music.
