Club Guesthouse is on Splaiul Unirii, south of the Old Town, and it books some of the most serious line-ups in the city. Recent nights include Ivan Smagghe and Manfredas, a Black Rhino Radio night with Autechre and, on Saturday 17 October, Gonno and Raresh. The programme is dance music first, with an international guest most weeks.
The Saturday on 10 October ran from 23:00 to 08:00 and cost 60 lei at the door. The club has a no-photo clubbing policy and reserves the right to select its audience. Not for you if you want a quick drink or a loose door: the nights are long, and the music decides who gets in.
