Cloud 23 is on the 23rd floor of the Beetham Tower at 303 Deansgate, inside the hotel, with views over the city in several directions. It is a cocktail and champagne bar that also serves afternoon tea and brunch, so the mood changes through the day.
Hours vary by day: it opens at noon or 15:00, and closes at 22:00 early in the week, at midnight on Thursday and Saturday and at 01:00 on Friday. Walk-ins are welcome when there is space, but booking is recommended, and no-shows are charged £10 a head. The dress code is smart casual, and after 17:00 it runs Challenge 25. Not for you if you want a party: it is a view and a drink, not a dance floor.
