Tollcross pub in the former All Saints Parsonage, open since 1995, with nine cask ales, ten keg lines and over 70 malt whiskies.
Cloisters opened in 1995 in the former All Saints Parsonage on Brougham Street, on the Tollcross side of the city centre, and it has kept many of the building's traditional features. It is a beer pub first: nine cask ales and ten keg lines rotate through local and regional breweries, and there are more than 70 malt whiskies behind the bar.
It opens from midday most days, closing at 23:00 from Sunday to Tuesday and at midnight from Wednesday to Saturday. It suits the start of a night, before the walk down through the West Port to the Grassmarket and the Cowgate. Not for you if you want music or a late finish: it is a quiet pub and closes at midnight at the latest.
Walk-in pub.
