Pigalle club behind a gold-edged black facade, founded in 1936 as the first women's cabaret in Europe, open weekends until 06:00.

Chez Moune was founded in 1936 by Monique Carton, known as Moune, and is described as the first women's cabaret in Europe. It moved to Rue Jean-Baptiste Pigalle in the fifties, and the black facade with gold edging is still there. Later owners turned it into a mixed club and kept much of the vintage interior.

Today it runs afterworks from 20:00 and club nights from midnight to 06:00 on Friday and Saturday, with a bar and one small dancefloor. Not for you if you want space or a big sound system: it fills quickly and feels closer to a private party than a club.
