Chelsea is a fixed point on the Lerchenfelder Gürtel, set in arches 29 and 30 under the U6. The music is Britpop, punk and indie, with live bands on the stage and DJs on the other nights, and the screens show football when there is a match worth watching.
It is open every day from 18:00 to 04:00, which makes it one of the few reliable late options early in the week. Concerts are ticketed, so check the programme before a band night. It is loud, crowded and unpretentious. Not for you if you want cocktails or a dance-music club.
