Five-room club on Pico Boulevard, open on selected nights for industrial, goth, rave and queer parties, with its own parking lot.
Catch One opened in 1973 as Jewel's Catch One, run by Jewel Thais-Williams, and became one of the first Black discos in the United States and a major Black gay dance bar in Los Angeles. Steve and Mitch Edelson bought it in November 2015, and Buzzbands LA reported in October 2018 that the club, which had traded as Union, reverted to the Catch One name. Today it opens on selected nights at 4067 West Pico Boulevard for concerts, parties and events.
The building has five rooms: Disco (1,200), Underground and Noise + Tavern (350 each), Jewel's Room (275) and the Apartment (155), and several events often run on the same night. Autumn 2026 listings include Das Bunker, an industrial and goth night, on 31 October and Rhondavous on 25 November. Age limits vary by event, with some nights 18+ and others 21+. The venue has its own parking lot next to the building.
Only small purses are allowed and they are searched. Open-toe shoes and items that could be used as a weapon, such as large chains or sharp jewellery, are not allowed.
