Cask Ancoats opened in November 2018 at Cottonfield Wharf, on New Islington Marina, as the sister bar to Cask on Liverpool Road. It is a beer bar first: 27 keg lines, six cask lines and a large range of bottles and cans, with rotating guest beers from local and international breweries. It is dog friendly and sits by the canal.
It opens at noon every day and closes at 22:00 early in the week, 23:00 on Thursday and 23:30 on Friday and Saturday. It is a good start before walking into the Northern Quarter. Not for you if you want a late night: Ancoats goes quiet before the clubs open.
