Speakeasy at a secret address in the 6th, ranked 8th in France in the French Bar Awards 2025; book online for the address and code.
Carry Nation is a speakeasy built around the Prohibition era, at a secret address in the Palais-de-Justice district of the 6th arrondissement, a short walk south of the Vieux-Port. You book online, then wait for an email with the address and an entry code. Inside is a dim boudoir with old furniture, a dozen classic and signature cocktails and more than 300 spirits. In the French Bar Awards 2025 it ranked eighth among the 100 best cocktail bars in France.
It opens from 18:00 to midnight on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday, until 01:00 on Thursday and until 02:00 on Friday and Saturday. Time Out priced the cocktails at €14–18 in 2024. There is no food, so eat first. Not for you if you like to turn up unannounced: without a booking you will not find the door.
