Café Wilhelmina has been on Wilhelminaplein since 1971, and it is where the square's live music lives. Bands play regularly, from local rock acts to The Flaming Sambucas' farewell show on 10 October 2026, and there are plenty of specialty beers. On Friday the Kroeg Klub turns the café into a dance floor from 22:00, and there is a pub quiz on Thursday from 19:00 to 23:00.
It opens at noon every day and closes at 01:00 from Monday to Wednesday and at 02:00 from Thursday to Sunday. The terraces on the square fill on sunny days. It is a more local alternative to Stratumseind. Not for you if you want to stay out until four: it closes at 02:00 at the latest.
