Café Kosmos is a pub on Dachauer Straße, a couple of minutes from the north side of the Hauptbahnhof, and one of the easiest late drinks in that corner of Maxvorstadt. It describes itself simply as a café and Kneipe, the German word for a local pub, and it keeps long hours every day of the week.
It opens at 12:00 from Monday to Friday and stays open until at least 01:00; on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays it opens at 14:00 and runs until at least 03:00. Tables can be reserved by phone between 17:00 and 19:00, but not by email. NY.Club is a short walk away. Not for you if you want cocktails made with ceremony: this is a pub.
