Bolle is a café, restaurant and bar on the Piusplein, once called by the student paper Univers possibly Tilburg's best-known student bar. It opens at 11:00 and closes at 04:00 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday, and at 01:00 on Wednesday and Sunday. Every Tuesday from 23:00 to 00:30 it runs Dobbeldinsdag, with free entry and resident DJs: you order a drink and roll a die, and an even number makes your drinks free.
The rest of the week has themed pub quizzes, a Film & Food menu that includes a Pathé cinema ticket, coffee, cocktails and a long list of specialty beers. There is a terrace, and tables can be reserved online. Not for you if you want a quiet late drink in term time: this is a student hangout.
