Bumann & Sohn is on Bartholomäus-Schink-Straße in Ehrenfeld, a short walk from Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld. It is a bar, a concert venue and, on Friday and Saturday, a club bar with a DJ programme and a dance floor, free to enter. Expect disco and house at the weekend, and karaoke, comedy and concerts on other days. Food comes from a neighbourhood kitchen.
It opens at 17:00 on weekdays, 14:00 on Saturday and 15:00 on Sunday, and closes at 01:00 early in the week, 03:00 on Thursday and 05:00 on Friday and Saturday, though hours can change from week to week. The beer garden opens in good weather, and in December the yard hosts Ehrenfeld's Christmas market. At carnival it runs for six days straight. Not for you if you want a headliner.
