Koreatown karaoke dive bar open since 1971, advertising karaoke every night until 02:00, with a single room and no private karaoke rooms.

Cafe Brass Monkey opened in 1971 at 3440 Wilshire Boulevard and is a karaoke dive bar with a ski-lodge-style interior. Wikipedia quotes the Los Angeles Times calling it arguably L.A.'s best feel-good karaoke bar, and InsideHook said in February 2024 that it has hosted karaoke for over 50 years and still does so every night. The Infatuation describes a one-room tavern with no private rooms, so the whole bar hears each song. The bar's site says Karaoke Every Night, asks guests to book a table, and lists a bar menu from 17:00 to 23:00 daily plus a weekday lunch menu from 11:00 to 17:00. A December 2022 Los Angeles Magazine guide listed $5 margaritas and $10 menu cocktails.

The site gives two sets of hours. Booking hours are 20:00 to 02:00 on Monday, 18:00 to 02:00 on Tuesday and 17:00 to 02:00 from Wednesday to Sunday, while a separate list gives 11:00 to 02:00 from Monday to Friday and 17:00 to 02:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Both end at 02:00, and the booking hours are used here. InsideHook reports free parking with validation after 17:00 in the lot behind the bar. Not for you if you want a private room: Koreatown has other venues for that.
