Bramble

Bramble is a cocktail bar in a basement at 16a Queen Street, at the east end of the New Town close to St Andrew Square. It opens every day from 16:00 to 01:00 and takes no bookings, so you walk in and wait for a space. It belongs to the same family of bars as The Last Word Saloon and Mothership Scotland, and its full drinks menu is published online.

Because it serves until 01:00 every night, it works as the last stop before the George Street clubs or the walk up to the Old Town. Not for you if you want a guaranteed table for a group: there is no booking, so large parties may have to wait.
