Boutiq'Bar opened in 2008 on Paulay Ede utca, just off Andrássy út, and it helped set the standard for cocktails in Budapest. The room is small and red-walled, the menus rotate monthly, and the presentation is part of the point: drinks arrive in science-lab beakers, smoothie cups and old honey pots, and tiki rum drinks in moai mugs.
Cocktails cost 4,350–4,450 Ft. It opens on Wednesday from 18:00 to midnight, Thursday until 01:00, and Friday and Saturday until 02:00, and it is closed from Sunday to Tuesday. On busy weekends pairs need to book online with an 8,000 Ft table deposit. Not for you if you are a group of eight arriving at 23:00 on a Saturday; space is limited.
