Cologne's biggest electronic club, by the Mülheim harbour: several rooms of EDM and techno, generally 18+, and number 11 in DJ Mag's 2026 club list.

Bootshaus sits on Auenweg by the Mülheim harbour, under a Rhine bridge on the right bank. It is the club that put Cologne on the international map: in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs 2026 it came 11th, the highest-placed club in Germany, after 7th the year before. Several rooms mix EDM with harder techno, and there is an outdoor area as well.

Nights start between 21:00 and 23:00 and tickets sell online; the big names sell out, as Chris Stassy did for 16 October 2026. Entry is generally 18+ (16+ for some events) with official photo ID, there is no dress code, and the door turns away anyone who looks aggressive or too drunk. Lockers can be booked in advance. Not for you if you want to walk between clubs: it is a long way from the rest of the scene.
