Big Ben

Big Ben has been on Plaza de Honduras, in the university district near Avenida de Blasco Ibáñez, since 1979. The tourist board lists it as pub, club and terrace in one, and it also runs a restaurant with room for about 120 diners, so it works for dinner, a drink outside and a late round under one roof.

It is a local, mixed place rather than a destination club, and a good first stop before La3 or 33/45 in the same part of town. Several metro and tram lines stop within walking distance. Check its social media for opening hours before you go. Not for you if you want cocktails made with care: this is a pub first.
