BeerGeek grew out of a Prague bottle shop and now runs one of the city's biggest craft beer bars: 32 taps on Vinohradská, with Czech brewers next to imports from Belgium, Denmark, Britain, the United States, Norway and Germany. The room is minimal and modern, and the kitchen is known for spicy chicken wings.
It is open every day from 15:00 to 02:00, a three-minute walk from Jiřího z Poděbrad. Use it as the craft-beer counterpoint to the lager halls in Žižkov next door. Not for you if you only want a half-litre of Pilsner at pub prices; craft pours cost more, around 70–120 Kč.
