Beco do Rato is a samba bar on Rua Joaquim Silva in Lapa. From 1 November 2025 it added a Saturday session from 12:00 to 18:00, with samba and a feijoada at R$40 (€7) per person. Entry is free until 14:00 and R$25 (€4.50) after that, and the evening shows run as before.
A June 2026 weekend listing from O Globo still showed it opening at 12:00 on Saturday, and a 2024 guide gave a cover from R$10 and music on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Hours for the evening bands were not published. Not for you if you want a quiet lunch: the Saturday session is built around live samba.
